SLATER’S FINAL GAME

When the Frewsburg Bears, led by head coach Terry Gray, beat the Randolph Cardinals in the Section VI Class D semifinals to end the Cardinals’ 2011 season, it was not the final game of Randolph head coach Pat Slater’s career.

Slater coached the Cardinals during the 2012 season, which ended with Randolph winning its first of three straight New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class D championships.
